| Part One= To set up a Static IP address to attempt to get PS3 settings to NAT2
From PS3 got to: Settings, Network Settings, Intenet Connection Settings, Then choose yes, Choose Custom, Then Wireless, Enter Manually, Then enter your SSID the same as your network has been set to: 'To check what this is, on PC go to Start... Right Click My Computer, Then Click Properties, Then click Computer Name... Your SSID for PS3 will be whatever it states in Workgroup "Most will be WorkGroup" WLAN Security Settings is what you have to give anything that connects to your network... I cant tell you what this is.. it is your security setting set up in your router, and different routers have different ways of doing it, Check your Router hand book for this setting. In the IP Settings set as manual, Then entera IP address... you can use this if you dont know how to make one: 192.168.1.13 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Router: will be the access IP address to your router, check router hand book again... something like: 192.168.0.1 Primary DNS: will be the same IP address as Default Router above Secondary DSN: Do not put anything here... leave as is MTU: Automatic Proxy Server: Do Not Use UPnP: Enable "even though this is not usable" Then Thats it... Press X to save

| Port Forwarding Router Settings= Port Forwarding Your Router
Ok first off, every Router is different... every model of Router is different also In stating that, you need to check to see what your Router make and model is. Then go to Click Here For Port Fowarding.com , After a second or two it will load the screen with Router lists Find your Router make and model in the lists and click on it, After a second or two again it will provide another list, Find the Playstation network option then click that, Follow the complete instructions.
Then do a connection set up on the PS3 with all the new settings | |
